Pro to the question "Should Prostitution Be Legal?"
"[With decriminalization] [i]ndoor prostitution would look like it does right now, except that providers could be more explicit about the real services that they offer. Massage Parlors would clearly differentiate from Therapeutic Massage (which they already do). Code words like 'I speak Greek' and 'Happy Ending' would not be neccesary. Independent escorts would be able to unionize and organize more outwardly. Women owned agencies would be eligible for SBA minority grants, stripclubs would use different rating systems if in fact more than a strip show was going on in the private booths. Prostitutes that are robbed, raped, extorted, harassed etc would be able to come forward without penalty to the police or any legal system. Outdoor prostitution would take place in lit and security enforced (to protect the providers not arrest them!) areas designated for parked car activity."
